GIVING BACK TO OUR NATION’S VETERANS

For a decade, PulteGroup has worked to thank our nation’s veterans by doing what we do best: building homes and communities to make lives better.

In living our promise of building incredible places where people can live their dreams, PulteGroup’s Built to Honor® program provides mortgage-free homes to veterans living with disabilities as a result of their military service.

Consistent with PulteGroup’s beliefs regarding the value of diversity and inclusion, we work to ensure that recipients of Built to Honor homes reflect the diversity present within our country and the United States Military. In support of this ideal, we are committed to working with charitable partners that share our commitment to operational excellence and to serving our nation’s diverse Veteran population.

IN GRATITUDE FOR THEIR PATRIOTISM & SACRIFICE

It is not about the windows, the walls, the floors. Or the carpet, the paint, the furnishings. All needed, all nice. But not really the point.

It is about the little girl who asked Santa to bring her daddy home for Christmas. And the teenage boy who wished his mom was there for his high school prom. It is about the military spouses and partners who somehow hold it all together while their loved one is on the other side of the world.

But most of all, it is about the nearly one million men and women who returned home from Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere over the past 20 years, forever changed due to injury or disability incurred while serving our nation.

In gratitude for their patriotism and sacrifice, PulteGroup’s Built to Honor® program has given more than 60 military families a new, mortgage-free home. Working in partnership with our compassionate and generous suppliers and contractors, the program has gifted more than $24 million in value since 2011 to make one critical part of reentry to civilian life easier for these men, women and their families.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE FOR OUR HEROES & THEIR FAMILIES

In these homes, families that have been through so much are now working on healing.

Educational degrees are being earned, new careers are beginning, families are growing, and happy memories are being made. From Michigan to Texas and Washington D.C. to California, our hope is that by simply doing what we do best we are making a difference for our veterans and their families as they rebuild their lives here at home.
